What is Lyno?

  • Lyno is a whole-body assessment tool that looks to identify the underlying cause of one’s dysfunction, to provide an effective, long -term solution to your problem.
  • The Lyno approach is based on the understanding that a body locked in a dysfunctional pattern, due to previous injuries, surgery or habits, usually presents with symptoms in areas that are a distance from the original trauma.
  • Lyno aims to restore your body’s normal movement patters and return you to full and proper function.

 

The Lyno Technique of Fascia Release

 

When the locked areas of your body have been identified, the practitioner will ask you to perform specific movements in a particular direction, while firmly gripping your skin and then gently moving it in the opposite direction.  This slow repetitive movement causes an almost immediate release of the fascia (connective tissue) in the area, restoring both natural movement and function.

 

As soon as the body regains functional range of movement, the focus shifts to the rehabilitation of function, with the specific target of restoring the body’s normal spiral patterns.
